I use my Samsung Galaxy S2 for navigation. On my roadtrip through florida\u00a0I used iGO My way and I&#8217;m very happy with the quality and correctness of the navigation.\u00a0\u00a0iGO offers a traditional 2D map but also a 3D view which is very helpful during the navigation at e.g. Miami. But I prefer the 2D view with auto zoom when I am not in a big city like Miami. Very helpful are the POI&#8217;s iGO \/ the maps knows. The useability of the\u00a0menu is very easy and fast. Because I am from germany\u00a0all distance informations are in km \/ metric units. But you can switch to a\u00a0miles view if you prefer. The maps are part of the application, so navigation doesn&#8217;t depend on cellular network coverage. This was very helpful for me because I had no contract with for e.g. AT&amp;T. There are no dead zones and no waiting for the network. Therefor iGO offers three options to search what you want to find. Select your destination &#8211; either by searching for an address, a place of interest or picking a spot on the map. The Smart Keyboard and Smart Search make it easy to find what you are searching for. The\u00a0Adaptive Search Results technology actually learns from your use of the application and tailors search results accordingly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a City<\/li>\n<li>Around Destination<\/li>\n<li>Along Route<\/li>\n<li>Around Here<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Very helpful was the seach function &#8220;Along Route&#8221;. Usually I used this function to find the next Star Bucks for a coffee and for internet access. The Around Destination search was good to find something to eat at the end of the day tour. Also the national state parks are included and much more. I started at Miami Airport and then traveled\u00a0anti-clockwise through Florida. Very helpful was the route\u00a0fine tuning function. Choose from fast, short, economic or &#8216;easy-to-follow&#8217; route variants, compare the various route alternatives visually on the map, and pick the one you prefer. You can also avoid freeways, ferries, unpaved roads, and toll roads. This was cool because sometimes you have to tune your route because you want to see a village or a POI.
