Here is a short description how to sync your Outlook contacts and schedule with the ASUS Transformers TF700t tablet.<\/p>\n

1. Step: ASUS offers the synchronisation software ASUS Sync that you can download here<\/a>. This Software has to be installed on the computer where you have installed\u00a0Outlook with the schedule and all your contacts.

2. Step: Afterwards just link the tablet with your PC using the USB cable that came with the power plug. In order that the PC indentfies the ASUS Transformers open the message bar at your tablet and select “ASUS sync – Sync PC information” (see screenshot below).<\/p>\n

3. Step: Within the ASUS Sync software you can edit the sync settings. Anyhow there are only a few possible like editing the timeframe of appointments that should be synchronized. After pressing the sync button the contact and schedule data are transferred.<\/p>\n

Results:\u00a0I created 2 differents appointments but only one of them was transferred correctly. The appointment that was scheduled for 2 days as out of office was not synchronized correctly as you can see in the following\u00a02\u00a0screenshots.<\/p>\n

Anyhow the contacts with name, telephone number, birthdays and even Outlook category have been transferred with no problems.<\/p>\n

Conclusion: The ASUS Sync software would need some improvements to sync Outlook Calendar properly. Additionlly there are currently no possibilities to sync Outlook notes or to dos with the ASUS Transformer TF700t.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
